Terms and Conditions for Quranist Academy

Welcome to Quranist Academy! By enrolling in our courses and accessing our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services.
1. Free Trial Classes
– **Trial Period**: Quranist Academy offers 3 days of free trial classes. During this period, there will be no fee for participation, and students can experience our courses without any financial commitment.
2. Class Timings and Attendance
**Prayer Timings**: Changes in Salaah/Namaz timings may affect class schedules. If class timings coincide with prayer times, students must take a 10-minute break for prayer.
**Punctuality**: Students should be prepared and ready at least 5 minutes before class starts to ensure timely sessions.
 3. Technical Requirements
– Students must have a good quality laptop or tablet, quality headphones, and a reliable internet connection to ensure the best educational experience.
 4. Fee Structure
– All fees must be paid in advance, covering 1 to 3 months. Timely payment is crucial for the smooth operation of our services.
– If a student is absent for one month or more, the fee for that period is still due, as we reserve the student’s time slot for future classes.
**Payment Methods**: We accept all types of online payments, including bank transfers, debit/credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, MoneyGram, Ria, Western Union, Wise, and local transfers in various currencies through our European, UK, Australian, Canadian, and American accounts. However, we recommend avoiding sending payments to our personal names or CNIC.
5. Rules for Students with Outstanding Fees
– **Initial Notification**: Students placed on hold status will receive a notification on the same day they are marked as such, and classes will continue as scheduled.
– **Follow-Up Notification**: If a student’s hold status remains for 7 days, a second notification will be sent, and classes will be suspended.
**Reinstating Classes**: If the student re-establishes contact, they must reach out to the fee department. If the student claims to have paid the fee, classes will resume upon confirmation from the fee department.
**Final Status**: If fees are not paid within 10 days and there is no communication from the fee department regarding payment, the student will be assigned a stop status, and their data will be recorded in the stop students file. The teacher will then terminate the student’s classes.
 6. Rules for Absent Students
**Attendance Monitoring**: Daily attendance will be checked. If a student has three consecutive absences, the shift in-charge should begin contacting the student 10 minutes before class starts.
**Initial Outreach**: If contact is not re-established before class time, the following message should be sent to the student:
> “Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh.
> Dear Student, how are you? We haven’t heard from you for a while. Is everything alright?”
– **Subsequent Absences**:
– If there is a fifth absence, a call should be made to the student. If contact is re-established, send them one of the prepared messages (Message 1) and record the contact in the outreach file.
– Continue to attempt contact with the student for three more absences, but do not resend the same message each time.
– If there is still no contact by the eighth day, send Message 2 to the student and forward the message to the head office.
**Final Steps**:
– If the head office replies that contact cannot be re-established, after 10 days, the student’s data should be recorded in the left students’ file, and their classes will be terminated. The student’s ID and related information should also be deleted from the teacher’s records.
7. Parent and Student Responsibilities
– Parents must ensure that assignments are completed and submitted daily to keep the student on track.
– The teacher is responsible for the student’s progress only if both parents and students follow the teacher’s instructions.
– Parents can discuss teaching approaches but should not criticize the teaching methods. Results are guaranteed if guidelines are followed.
8. Parent Involvement
– One parent should assist the child in handling the device during classes but should not interfere with the learning process or correct mistakes, as this is the teacher’s responsibility.
– Parents can benefit from the teaching provided, as it will help them understand the Quran better without incurring additional fees.
9. Conduct and Behavior
– Both teachers and parents should maintain a respectful and supportive environment during classes.
– Any concerns regarding a teacher’s behavior should be reported to the administration immediately.
– Gifts for teachers are strictly prohibited. If a teacher requests gifts, it must be reported.
10. Communication
– **Contact Information**: Students and teachers are not allowed to contact or share any personal information, as this is strictly prohibited. All communication must occur within the class environment.
– If a teacher misses a class, we will provide extra time or weekend classes to make up for the missed session.
11. Official Holidays
– **Weekly Holidays**: Saturday and Sunday.
– **Annual Holidays**:
– 1st to 3rd Shawwal
– 9th and 10th Muharram
– 12th Rabi ul Awal
– 15th Sha’ban

12. Special Circumstances
– During Ramadan, classes will continue at normal times but will be of half duration to prevent fatigue. The only official holidays are the ones listed above.
13. Communication and Reporting
– Parents should keep the academy informed about their child’s monthly test results to improve educational outcomes.
– For any complaints or issues, please contact the organization immediately.
14. Progress Expectations
– Completing the Quran with Tajweed typically takes 25 to 30 months for a fresh student. Previous experience with other instructors or disabilities may extend this timeline. We strive to provide a quality educational experience and appreciate your patience and trust in our efforts.
15. Social Media
– We regularly upload recorded content on social media to showcase our commitment to honest and dedicated Quranic and Islamic education.
16. Leave Policies
Vacations: Students may take vacations, during which the complete fee must be paid in advance. The student’s class time and teacher will remain unchanged during this period.
Holidays: Students may also take holidays without any fee charge. However, the class time and teacher will change after the holidays.
